Hi, I’m Yuridia. I’m a digital and film photographer based in Arizona. I’ve loved photography since I was a teenager, and my passion grew while attending Northern Arizona University.
A few of my favorite things include Sunsets, traveling, and spending time with my family. You can always catch me driving or flying to a new place. I enjoy photographing scenic portraits and family gatherings the most. I am a photographer because it gives me a way to understand the world around me and myself. Choosing photography —and art in general—wasn’t the most expected path, but it’s been one of the most important decisions I’ve made. It’s changed how I see my identity, my community, and my future. Photography became more than just taking pictures. It became a way for me to tell stories that matter to me—stories about culture, growth, and perspective. It allowed me to slow down and really observe things that might otherwise go unnoticed. Through my work, I’ve learned that my voice has value and that where I come from shapes the way I see the world in a powerful way.
Looking ahead, I want to keep building on what I’ve learned. I plan to continue challenging myself creatively, especially when I feel stuck, and to stay open to new ideas and opportunities. Photography will continue to be a tool for self-expression, but also a way to connect with others and share meaningful stories.
